We are the square, round, and line dance leaders of the Central Ohio community. We are the folks who call and cue at local, state, national, and international dances and dance conventions. We also serve in the role of instructors at classes for new dancers.
As an organization, the Central Ohio Callers Association exists to allow us to better serve our community through the coordination of our resources and the scheduling of our activities.
Each year the Association sponsors the Snowball, a basic dance that all new dancers-in-training are encouraged to attend. This is typically the first experience local new dancers have with a formal dance event. Experienced dancers are also asked to come out to dance and offer support to the new dancers. Rounds and line dancing are offered along with the square dancing. The 45th Annual Snowball dance will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010, from 1:30 to 4:30 PM at the Whitehall Community Park, 402 N Hamilton Rd, Whitehall.
